Some catching up is needed, so I envisage a few posts on what has been happening with us at the Waterdine.
The first thing many will already know I became ill over two years ago and have been helped on the road to recovery by several teams of fantastic people in four separate hospitals, not to mention our local doctors surgery staff and the fantastic district nursing team. Things are looking now up and I have been able to continue doing the cooking most of the time.
Then last November Isabel’s mom Pammy past away suddenly. although she had been struggling with mobility there was no real indications that she was that ill. Again the NHS was excellent and extremely caring, I could not believe it but even the ambulance crew who rushed her into Hereford County Hospital on the Wednesday evening visited her in the ward the following day to see how she was.
